When you push the Autofocus button and the Z-Table will move down a little bit and stop and will not allow you to jog up this typically leads to the autofocus pen always being "Engaged" where the machine thinks it is hitting material. There are a few fixes that can resolve this easily.
Adjust Silver Tip
the bottom of the autofocus pen has a silver tip that moves up and down on a spring on the inside and can get stuck, just flicking the bottom of the silver pin can disengage it and allow it to drop down and can allow more of a gap between it and the magnet sensor. If that does not work..
Adjust Magnet Sensor
You would want to loosen the clear nylon screw near the top and if you rotate the top two wires counter-clockwise this will move the magnet sensor upwards and away from the silver plunger inside which will give it more space to not engage. Typically the two wires "flush" with the the top of the gold rim should be enough but you can rotate it a bit more to have more of a gap, the above image is showing the magnet sensor itself and shouldn't in most cases be this high unless to replace it.
Unplug Autofocus Pen
Follow those two wires up towards the black wiring track and there will be a black quick disconnect you can simply unplug it at any time and the table should move up and down freely and you may want to further loosen the magnet sensor or unscrew the silver tip to provide more of a gap.
