If you have purchased our Synchro Chuck Rotary V2 to use with your Muse 3D/Core system you can use the steps below to ensure proper function.

Plug in the Rotary:
- Start by ensuring your Chuck Rotary V2 is securely plugged into your laser machine. Make sure the machine is powered off before plugging in the rotary.

Power On the Machine:
- Once the rotary is properly plugged in, power on your laser machine.

Access RE3 Software:
- Open your web browser and enter the IP address for your machine. Typically, this address will be something like "192.168.xxx.xxx."

Homing Phase:
- Your machine will go through a homing phase, ensuring that all components are properly aligned and calibrated.

Position the Rotary:
- Position your laser head above the object you want to engrave. The starting position should be at the apex of the object and to the left, according to your specific design preferences.

Access Rotary Settings:
- In the RE3 software, locate and click on the settings icon in the top-left corner.

Enable Rotary Mode:
- Look for the "Rotary Settings" tab within the software and enable rotary mode. Ensure that the rotary type is set to "Chuck Rotary V2."

Set Rotary Parameters:
- Set the "Rotary Steps Per Revolution" to 2400. This value is essential for accurate rotary engraving.
- Input the diameter of the object you want to engrave. This measurement helps the machine calculate the required adjustments for rotary engraving.

Save Settings:
- After configuring the rotary parameters, click the "Save" button to store these settings.

Upload Your Image:
- Upload the image you want to engrave onto the object. Make sure the image is in raster format. If it's not, you may need to rasterize it within the RE3 software.

Adjust Engraving Settings:
- Configure the engraving settings according to your specific requirements, such as power, speed, and resolution.

Resize the Engraving:
- Adjust the size and position of your engraving to match the dimensions and location on your object.

Preview the Engraving:
- Use the preview feature to ensure that your engraving is correctly positioned on your object. This step helps avoid any mistakes before starting the job.

Start the Job:
- Once you're satisfied with the preview and all settings are in place, you can initiate the engraving job. Follow the prompts in your software to begin the engraving process.
If you are experiencing jittering of the motors, try the following steps:
Ensure that all cables are securely connected. Most common cases of jittering of the rotation of the rotary is one or more wires within the molex connector are not making full, proper contact.
if this doesn't resolve any jitters in rotation, It may be necessary to open the side panel of the machine and locate the "A-Axis" cable on the top-right of the green breakout board and reseat this connection as well with the machine powered off, this cable is what connects the molex within the side firewall of the machine to the control board.
Verify that no power is supplied to the motors when connecting or disconnecting the rotary. Powering the rotary while the machine is on can lead to motor damage and electrical issues. If this has occurred, consult your machine's manual or a technician for further assistance.
