If you want to add vibrancy to your designs or just experiment with powder coat this short guide should get you started. Read or watch all instructions before proceeding.
Tools needed-
Engraving Material
At least 1" Foam Brush
Powder Coating Paint (aka Hotcoat)
A Card or scraper
Engrave project normally.
Apply Powder Coating to Engraving area, using the Foam Brush to push the powder into all the grooves.
Once the engraving is filled with the powder to your satisfaction, use the card/scraper to remove excess powder without disturbing what is in the grooves.
Run job at about 10% of power used with air assist turned off. You may need to experiment with the settings.
Examine your project. Is it vibrant enough? You may need to apply more powder and run it again to achieve desired results.
