- Site Requirements: The distance between the left and right sides and the front and back sides should be at least 1.2 meters.
- Installation of the Foundation Ground: The ground in which you set your machine to should be level or at least within 10mm. This is so that the floor can withstand a weight of more than 6 tons. Installing the machine onto the foundation requires there to be no significant vibration around the surrounding area. If vibrations are present, then an anti-vibration trench needs to be dug. When setting up your machine, steel plates with a thickness of 20mm, should be placed under the feet.
- Power Supply:
- Specifications: 380V 50Hz, three-phase five-wire system. Capacity will vary on laser type
- Quality: Three-phase unbalance < 2.5%
- Line Voltage Fluctuation < 5%
- Single-phase 220V ± 5%
The power supply must be stabilized to ensure the machine and laser work well. The air compressor and fan should not be powered through the machine’s power supply to prevent changes in the power of high-power equipment from interfering with the laser output.
- Grounding Protection: Grounding pins and grounding wires should be installed onto the power supply’s grounding wire. The resistance should be less than 4 Ohms. There should be three or more grounding pins, with a diameter of 15mm and a length of more than 1.5m.
- Environment: Your work area should be a well ventilated area. Make sure there is no dust, corrosion or water leakage around the area. The control unit, servo unit, and monitor should be kept away from machines that discharge, cause electromagnetic wave interference, and arc welding equipment to avoid affecting the normal operation of the machine.
- Unloading: In order to unload the machine, use either a crane or a forklift.
-
- Crane- should be either a hydraulic or truck crane capable of lifting items over 10T
- Forklift-must be capable of lifting items over 10T
- Cooling Water: Only use distilled water for your cooling. Mineral water should never be used. If the temperature is below 0°, use a 20% propylene glycol/distilled water mix to prevent freezing. Do not operate the laser at temperatures below 20oF (-9.4oC).

- Nitrogen Pressure Reducing Valve: Input- 15MPa, Output- .2- 3 MPa
- Oxygen Pressure Reducing Valve: Input- 15MPa, Output- .05- 1.2 MPa
- Note: The air tubes do ont come with leak protection. If leak protection is needed, then the protection current should be less than 300mA. The recommended current is above 500mA to prevent leaks.
Gas Usage Standards:
Oxygen- Liquid oxygen must be warmed up to room temperature using a vaporizer. The liquid container and the vaporizer can withstand pressure up to 4.5MPa. The output pressure is 2MPa and the flow rate is 1 cubic meter/minute.
Nitrogen-Liquid nitrogen must also be warmed up to room temperature using a vaporizer. The liquid container and the vaporizer can withstand pressure up to 4.5MPa. The output pressure is 3MPa and the flow rate is 1 cubic meter/minute.
Air- Used for cutting. It requires a high pressure air of around 3MPa and a flow rate of 1.2 cubic meter/minute.
